A Message from
Brian Guarco
National President
I am deeply honored to serve as UNICO National President for the 2026–2027 term. To be entrusted with this responsibility by an organization dedicated to service, heritage, fellowship, and community is a privilege for which I am sincerely grateful. I would also like to recognize Convention Co-Chairs PNPs Joe Agresti and Michael Spano for their dedicated efforts in support of our 103rd convention at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida.
UNICO National has long stood as the largest Italian American service organization in the United States, guided by the motto “Service Above Self” and by its mission to promote Italian American heritage while supporting charitable, educational, cultural, scientific, and literary endeavors. This mission continues to inspire me, as well as so many others who are committed to service, the strengthening of our communities, and the preservation of values passed down through generations. During my term, I will place particular emphasis on INSIEME, a program inspired by the Italian word for “together.” INSIEME represents a meaningful step forward in extending UNICO’s mission into high schools by fostering connections among students, educators, and communities while helping to strengthen the future of Italian American heritage.
I am especially grateful to our members, chapters, district leaders, past national presidents, officers, volunteers, families, and friends, whose dedication has helped establish UNICO as the respected organization it is today. Your commitment, generosity, and steadfast belief in our shared purpose continue to distinguish this organization in a truly meaningful way.
As this term begins, I look forward to working closely with our leadership and membership to advance UNICO’s important work. Together, we will continue to celebrate Italian American culture, support meaningful charitable initiatives, expand opportunities for education and service, and strengthen the bonds among our chapters nationwide.
